It’s a journey.
I’m DJ Tomban, a Drum & Bass artist drawn to the emotional side of electronic music — from atmospheric Liquid Funk to the raw energy of Jungle.
For me, music often begins long before I open a DAW. Inspiration can come from a place I’ve visited, a landscape seen from above, a photograph, a conversation, a memory or simply a feeling that refuses to disappear.
Travel, nature, photography and drones give me another way of looking at the world. Music gives me a way of translating those experiences into sound.
That is why my tracks are not created around one fixed formula. Some are darker, some uplifting, some nostalgic. What connects them is atmosphere, emotion and the idea that music can take you somewhere — even if only for a few minutes.
